The vessel

Turned from travertine, made to be refilled.

Each vessel is turned from a block of travertine and honed by hand, so it keeps its place on the shelf long after the wax is gone. The lid keeps dust off and the scent in. When it burns down, bring it back and we pour it again.

The craft

Poured in one room in Little River, in batches of 200.

Blended by hand
Each scent is weighed out from 14 to 22 materials, including Florida sea grape leaf and Haitian vetiver, at 10% in the wax.

Cured two weeks
Poured candles rest for two weeks before they ship, so the scent binds to the wax and fills the room when lit.

Poured and numbered
Every vessel is poured, wicked and numbered by batch. The batch number is under the lid.

Full ingredients

Coconut wax, soy wax, fragrance (phthalate free), cotton wick. Vegan, no paraffin, no added dye. Concept copy.

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship from Miami in 1 to 2 business days. Standard US delivery is 3 to 5 days and free over $100; express is $14.

Can I return a candle?

Yes. If the scent is not for you after the first burn, send it back within 30 days for a full refund.

How do refills work?

Bring your empty vessel to the studio, or mail it in with the prepaid label from your account. A classic refill is $48.

How do I get the best burn?

On the first burn, let the melted pool reach the edge, about two hours. Trim the wick to 5 mm before each light.

Can I visit?

The studio in Little River is open Thursday to Saturday, 11 to 6, for smelling and refills.
